WEBPosted July 5, 2012. I made some black powder yesterday with a ball mill... this is the burn test. Burn starts somewhere around 3s and ends before 4s, less than half a second. Used 75 Potassium Nitrate, 15 airfloat willow charcoal, and 10 sulfur. Ball milled 75 potassium nitrate + 5 charcoal, then 10 charcoal and 10 sulfur.
